about us…

Guam Bakery was incorporated in 1971 and opened its doors four years later at its existing location at 140 Kayen Chando Street, Dededo, Guam. Started by three siblings, the bakery remains a family business, with the third generation of bakers anxiously awaiting their turn to enter the fold. We began as a small “mom-and-pop” style bakery. In the early 1980s, larger companies on Guam such as Black Construction and McDonalds of Guam took a chance on us, and together, we grew our respective businesses.
Because of this faith in our products by the local community, we have grown to become the largest bakery on island. We take seriously this role and we honor our commitment to the Guam community by continually providing excellent products and services.

Facilities and Equipment:

Guam’s Bakery, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide your baked goods in a timely manner. Guam Bakery has two main facilities:

• The main branch, located at 140 Kayen Chando Street, in Dededo, is both the retail outlet and production area for our specialty Filipino breads, pastries, desserts, and customized cakes.

• The wholesale manufacturing facility is located at 136 Bello Road in Barrigada. The plant boasts approximately 8,000 square feet of production space as well as fully automated Sottoriva equipment imported from Vicenza, Italy. The bread line can produce approximately 900 dozen buns and 600 loaves of bread per hour.

• Additionally, our sister company, CMC Wholesalers, provides bakery ingredients for Guam’s Bakery, Inc. as well as other bakeries on island. This close relationship guarantees minimal downtime due to efficient inventory management.
